Beautiful/Decay Issue R
For our first issue of 2007, we have decided to break our mold of a themed issue and instead are featuring a brilliant group of artists whose work stands on its own. Issue: R features a cornucopia of artistic voices and practices, starting with our cover story on Zeloot, a talented young illustrator from the Netherlands who creates psychedelic art-inspired rock posters.
From there, we move to the rich fire Training Facility photographs by Becky Brister, stencil work by John Fekner, the psychedelically meditative drawings of Mike Stipl. Issue R is a hyperactive reflection of some of Beautiful/Decay’s favorite artists connected solely by their collective resistance to a theme.
