Dalek has always giving a extra twist to the pieces that are presented by giving the collector his traditional style but always in a refreshing manner. In our opinions at Strangekiss, we do believe this to be the best Dalek piece to date. The canvas of the Gosho seems to have been a perfect match
We scored a few extra ones as they were long time sold out from a private collector and if you see this low price, grab them while you can.
Here is some information on the project as well. This is a real study of art and very important piece, many other artists have joined in this art study as well and will have their version in the future. Artists lined up so far are Frank Kozik, Dalek, Craola, Donny Miller, Tara McPherson, Nathan Cabrera, Tokidoki, Joe Hahn, Den (FUCT), JC, Plasticgod, COPE and many more.
Nin=human and gyo=form. These are dolls that were not intended to be played with necessarily. These figures coincide with the long form of the word doll; i-dol. The ningyo’s function is to provoke, invoke, fear, revere and inspire.
The doll we chose is a gosho doll, meaning from or of the Palace of Kyoto. The gosho doll is wearing a hat that represents it’s of noble descent or a member of the court, thus the hat is known as a court cap. The doll is carrying a rope which symbolized good luck. The figure would use the rope to pull in ships carrying treasure and other fortunes.
Only 500 of each design. The gosho is 10” with three points of articulation. It is packaged in a unique window box, including spot UV coating for extra detail and a silver foil logo.
